Project Engineer (Service Delivery)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Project Engineer in our service delivery team to lead the planning, build, and provisioning of fibre delivery into new developments. Your role will involve managing customer and internal stakeholder relationships to ensure our “Building Connect” projects are completed on time, within budget, meeting the required quality standards, and to our customers' expectations.  This role will be 50% technical, ensuring the correct fibre designs and project deliverables are produced, and 50% project management in a customer-facing environment. You will work closely with some of the industry's largest developers, landlords, and main contractors to coordinate fibre installations into some of London’s most prestigious buildings. Internally, you will work closely with build teams and strategic partnerships team to manage the end-to-end delivery of these projects.

• Develop and execute a project plan, delivery schedules, and allocating resource accordingly

• Reviewing floor plans and overseeing (and attending as required) the survey and subsequent fibre designs for these buildings and new developments

• Producing deliverables including route maps, riser schematics, and method statements, and programs of works as and when required

• Liase with the Vorboss Strategic Partnerships to ensure a smooth handover from sale to delivery  

• Liase with installation teams and field operations teams to resource and schedule all survey and installation activities  

• Maintain frequent communications with respective stakeholders (externals and internal) on project status and next steps

• Assist in developing new processes and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

• Act as the main escalation point for project deliverables and take necessary actions to resolve issues.

• Maintain up-to-date systems and records.

• Practical project experience, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

• Strong knowledge of fibre network builds (within commercial property and new developments is desirable), gained through job experience and on-site training.

• Self-starter with a curiosity to grow and contribute to the company’s success.

• Adaptable, with a "can-do" attitude and ability to manage changing priorities.

• Creative thinker, able to handle different working styles efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills with diverse teams, especially in managing both internal and external stakeholders.

• Comfortable in a hands-on, autonomous role with a proactive approach.

• Strong time management and organisational skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Flexible, team-oriented, and committed to seeing tasks through to completion.
