Cloud virtualisation

Summary

Makes it possible to run many workloads efficiently in the cloud.

Description

Virtualization software, or a hypervisor, creates a layer of abstraction over physical hardware, allowing resources to be pooled and segmented into multiple virtual environments. It generates virtual versions of hardware components (think virtual machines or VMs) that can be dynamically allocated and managed across a network, typically the internet.

A mature setup balances resource use, ensures quick recovery, and drives cost savings.
