Technical Project Manager

The ideal candidate will come from technical background with experience of managing and/or implementing IT infrastructure projects, the role will focus primarily on management of in-flight and pipeline projects.

• Develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation.

• Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across multiple projects.

• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation.

• To coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments.

• Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements.

• Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.

• Ensure IT provisioning processes are followed.

ROLE DELIVERABLES

• Lead New customer Onboarding – Building relationships and providing amazing onboarding experience.

• Demonstrate a very high level of customer service and stakeholder management expertise, ensuring Project Stakeholders are kept updated throughout the Project duration.

• Support the delivery team in a technical and managerial remit, helping to ensuring department KPI’s are understood across the team and are on track.

• 3 years relevant contribution to infrastructure projects

• Proven success working with all levels of management.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Strong organisational skills.

• Understanding of core (network and MS server stacks) infrastructure solution design principles, execution, and implementation thereof.

• Backup methodologies and experience with design, implementation & management thereof.

• Experience owning, executing, and delivering infrastructure projects.

• Experience interpreting client requirements and translation thereof into technical solutions.

• Conceptual understanding of networks, firewall & endpoint device management.

• Ability to multitask in a demanding engineering environment.

• Resolving complex and deep technical issues and coming up with fast efficient solutions.

• Incident management and reporting.

• Work with-in team to deliver projects consistently within budget and to the client’s specification.

• Deliver world-class support and be a team player, remotely and onsite as required.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Demonstrable exposure to cloud environments, especially MS365/Azure, ideally with certification.

• Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets
