Who are Vorboss:
Vorboss is building London’s next-generation business fibre network. This is a responsibility that we take seriously; we understand that for most businesses, reliable fibre internet is as important as heat, electricity, and water. We want to completely change the fibre network in London (and beyond), and we’re on the hunt for smart, talented people to join us.
At Vorboss, we do the right thing—no matter what. Our unwavering focus on engineering excellence and unrivalled commitment to customer service is trusted by the most important organisations across the UK and Europe in the technology, pharmaceutical, financial, and e-commerce industries.
We’re proud to have earned one of the best reputations in the industry, and it is essential to us that we maintain that reputation as we grow. Our team is tight knit and highly talented. We trust each other to do the right thing, take responsibility, and be a champion for our collective success.
We’re looking for talented, smart people to join us as we embark on this exciting period of growth. Our vision for Vorboss is to be ‘the best job that someone ever had’, regardless of how long they stay with us, and promise to provide a supportive workplace based on respect and trust.
Vorboss is building the future of business infrastructure in London.
We started by building London’s largest fibre network and are now expanding to provide the full range of IT and cybersecurity services that modern businesses rely on. Our goal is simple: give London businesses a single, trusted partner for everything from connectivity to managed IT and cyber protection.

Role overview:
As we take on larger and more complex projects, from critical customer builds through to full data and network fit-outs inside major office refurbishments, we need a Senior Delivery Manager who can own delivery end-to-end on the work that matters most.
This isn't a role for someone who wants a steady stream of standard orders. It's the person we hand the difficult stuff to. Multi-tenant buildings with awkward access. Big projects where Vorboss is subcontracting to a main contractor on a live construction programme, and our delivery has to be interleaved with trades who don't care about fibre. Your job is to take these projects from commitment to live connection without anyone losing sleep over them.
You'll be the senior face of Vorboss in front of customers, landlords, building managers, and main contractors on your projects, so the role is as much about representing us well as it is about delivery mechanics. You'll report into the Director of Connectivity Operations and work closely with Build, Service Delivery, SHEQ, and our commercial teams.
Key responsibilities:
(Please note that this list is not exhaustive)
Delivery of complex orders
- Own the delivery of Vorboss's most complex customer orders: orders involving equipment hire, tall-building installations, tricky multi-tenant environments, or anything where normal service delivery needs a dedicated hand.
- Build and maintain delivery plans that reflect what contractors, splicing teams, and site access allow, not theoretical timelines.
- Act as the single point of accountability for these orders through to handover.
- Ensure systems of record are kept up to date and data integrity surrounding these builds is accurate
Construction programme delivery
- Lead Vorboss's delivery when we're subcontracting to a main contractor on a major office refurbishment or fit-out, covering data cabling, network delivery, and everything we install inside a live construction programme.
- Work to the main contractor's programme, attend site progress meetings, produce RAMS, and keep Vorboss's works on track alongside the other trades.
- Own day-to-day delivery risk and escalate construction compliance matters (CDM 2015, principal contractor coordination, permits, etc.) with support from SHEQ and Build leadership.
Stakeholder management
- Be the lead face of Vorboss to customers, landlords, building managers, and main contractors on your projects. Translate between what the construction and telecoms worlds each expect, and keep all sides informed.
- Run project meetings, produce clear reporting, and make sure decisions are captured and acted on.
Cross-functional coordination
- Work with Build, Service Delivery, SHEQ, Logistics, and commercial teams to pull together everything a project needs.
- Incorporate and integrate these projects into Vorboss delivery forecasts, ensuring a strong command across all of delivery of exactly when these services will be made live
- Manage equipment hire, access bookings, and contractor allocation so nothing derails the plan.
The right candidate:
The Senior Programme Delivery Manager’s responsibilities will consist of (please note that this is not an exhaustive list):
Essential
- Significant project or programme management experience delivering complex technical infrastructure work. You've run projects where things didn't go to plan and you've brought them back.
- Comfortable with fibre and telecoms delivery concepts, whether from a supplier background or as a customer who has commissioned fibre and network projects and understands the stages, the dependencies, and what good looks like.
- Experience managing delivery alongside construction programmes, main contractors, or fit-out projects. Or a strong track record of managing projects in buildings where you weren't the only trade on site.
- Confident running meetings with senior customers, landlords, building managers, and contractors. You represent the company well when the room is difficult.
- Strong planning and prioritisation. You keep multiple concurrent projects visible and under control, and you're honest about what's off track.
- Clear, concise written communication. Your project updates are short, useful, and actually read.
Desirable
- PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP or similar project management qualification.
- Direct experience on the Openreach network or with UK telecoms build.
- CDM 2015 awareness; SMSTS or CSCS.
- Experience working across a mix of small, discrete orders and large multi-month programmes.
- You don't need to tick every box. If you've managed complex delivery in a technical environment and the rest of this resonates, we'd like to hear from you.
You may not meet every single desired requirement listed under "the right candidate" section . If your experience looks a little different from what we’ve identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we’d love to learn more about you!
