Role overview:

Our Chief Revenue Officer is looking for someone to collaborate with our sales and networks teams, supporting the design of connectivity solutions for customers.

As a key member of the commercial team, you will apply your technical expertise to develop and deliver tailored customer solutions while working cross-functionally with sales, channel, partnerships, and network steams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Attend customer meetings with the sales team to understand customer requirements, address questions, and deliver solutions.
  • Assist the sales team in qualifying new opportunities and identifying upselling possibilities.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to the sales team to enhance their technical knowledge and sales skills, ensuring they are equipped to effectively communicate product benefits and address customer needs.
  • Design network connectivity diagrams that align with customer business needs.
  • Collaborate on responses to tenders (RFI/RFP), ensuring technical accuracy.
  • Stay informed about product developments and industry practices, capturing customer feedback for the Senior Leadership Team.

The right candidate:

  • Results-driven with a focus on working towards and meeting all KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis. 
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced and agile B2B technical sales environment (telecoms preferred). 
  • Experience operating autonomously coupled with a sense of ownership, urgency and drive. 
  • Experience of routing, switching and security within telecom.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. 
  • Ability to propose and improve processes and take ownership of projects. 
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to see tasks through to completion. 
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a diverse audience. 
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and documentation skills, ideally with experience in Visio.
  • Strong technical acumen understanding network topologies and technologies. 
  • Working knowledge of Layer 2 to Layer 5 networking principles and protocols.
