Role overview:

We are looking for experienced, proactive, and collaborative Installation Technicians. With our London fibre network now fully built, the focus of this role is on delivering high-quality installations, maintaining network integrity, resolving faults, and connecting customers to our infrastructure.

This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will work across London, delivering exceptional service from street-level infrastructure through to customer premises. You will play a critical role in ensuring our network performs to the highest standards and that customers experience seamless, reliable connectivity.

Key responsibilities:

The Installation Technician’s responsibilities will consist of (please note that this is not an exhaustive list):

• To build and maintain our fibre network in the streets of London, including surveying and completing installations in some of the most prestigious office space in London.

• To perform detailed and technical fibre installations and networking jobs to serve our customers.

• To complete physical work, involving handling equipment and moving chamber lids.

• To have the endurance to work in many environments (outdoors, indoors, underground, and at height).

• To maintain fibre installation equipment and company vehicles to a reasonable standard.

The right candidate:

• To have the physical capability of fulfilling all job responsibilities.

• To consistently represent Vorboss, at both customer and building sites, with the utmost professionalism and respect.

• To work well in teams, as well as independently when required. You will work closely with our field operations team, warehouse and logistics teams, planning engineers, and customer success teams.

• Great communication skills.

• To be reliable, and to be responsible for the important work you will be carrying out.

• Take pride in everything you do, constantly representing Vorboss in the best light.

• A full UK driving license.
