Role overview:

To review, coordinate and ensure the successful completion and delivery of Vorboss surveys. This includes route map quality, survey data integrity, and identifying field efficiencies that result in a higher success rate of surveys and more efficient installations.

Key responsibilities:

Route Map Review and Distribution

• Ensure the field surveying teams are submitting their route maps on time (in line with our SLAs) and to a quality standard (working closely with individuals and field Delivery Leads to address any issues)

• Review and approve route map documents ensuring they are of neat, clear, and free from errors and achieve the “customer facing” nature of these deliverables

• Review installation manifest and fibre design to ensure our surveys lead to successful installations (validate fibre design, and ensure all the equipment, materials and instructions required for a successful installation are captured in the manifest)

• Ensure our survey proposals align with our design best practices and support future connections into building, and consult with the fibre planning team where deviations are presented and/or require additional approval

• Validate that all survey forms (including civils requirements) are uploaded and captured accurately by the survey teams before progressing orders to Build

• Identify and record any non-standard installations, and ensure adequate instructions are provided to the installation team, and variations are communicated to the service Delivery team as required

Cross-Team Coordination

• Review the weeks surveys and ensure that resources are being allocated efficiently, identifying gaps for additional works to be performed by survey teams

• Work closely with field operations to modify calendars as required to support priorities and ensure the correct personnel are being assigned to jobs

• Work closely with H&S teams to help troubleshoot complex installations and ensure safe systems of work are in place

• Act as a central point of contact for route map questions raised by either the Build team or Service Delivery team

Admin & Data Integrity

• Take ownership for the accuracy and integrity of information in the installation manifest and Compass prior to installation

The right candidate:

• Experience in telecoms, fibre, utilities, or field operations

• Strong understanding of surveying, route mapping, or installation processes

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

• Able to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines

• Strong communication and cross-team coordination skills

• Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset

• Confident reviewing technical documentation and identifying risks

• Organised, accountable, and customer-focused

• Experience with operational systems and scheduling tools is desirable
