Role overview:
As a Logistics Operative at Vorboss, you will be an integral part of our warehouse and fleet operation, reporting to the Logistics Operations Supervisor and Logistics Operations Manager. This dynamic role will involve working across both warehouse operations and driving duties for our fleet,ensuring a smooth flow of materials and equipment to support our teams in the wider business
Key responsibilities:
• Assist in the receiving, storage and dispatch of equipment and supplies.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timelydelivery to designated locations.
• Assist in the maintenance of accurate stock records.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet trucks, safely and efficiently.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment onto fleet vehicles, ensuring proper securing and handling.
• Operate fleet vehicles to transport equipment to various locations as assigned.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections of vehicles to ensure road worthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication across departments, as well as assist with all general duties in and around the site.
• Adhere to all warehouse and fleet policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
The right candidate:
• Previous experience in warehouse operations and/or driving roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driving licence with a clean record.
• Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, safely and proficiently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends if required.
