Role Overview

Vorboss is looking for a driven and proactive individual to take on the permanent position of Warehouse Operative. This role will support the Warehouse team with general duties as well as other tasks to ensure there is a constant safe, and efficient, working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Operative’s responsibilities will consist of (please note that this is not an exhaustive list):

• Carry out ad-hoc yard duties to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

• General maintenance in warehouse as required, including maintaining the tidiness of warehouse and yard areas and ensuring others do the same.

• Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with general duties, including counting stock.

• Being responsible for moving vehicles around the site when needed.

• Continually carrying out basic checks for damage/ defects across the fleet and the warehouse.

• Picking and loading the materials and goods ready for operatives to collect.

• Check the goods loaded on to vehicles for delivery against the delivery notes provided and ensure that they have been safely and securely loaded (no over or uneven loading).

• Participate in occasional material delivery/collection to engineers on site.

• Participate in 5S activities.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous teamwork experience, with the ability to build professional relationships.

• Sound health and safety knowledge.

• Strong people skills.

• Excellent time-management.

• The ability to conduct yourself, and represent Vorboss, in a professional manner at all times.
