About the role
Vorboss Connect is the exciting new part of Vorboss that delivers connectivity to our customers outside our current fibre build area and across Europe – utilizing trusted 3rd parties for the “last mile” back to one of our local core data centre locations. Using all our experience in delivering circuits and our highly-resilient core network, we are able to offer a market-leading service and SLA.
Vorboss is looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to manage these global circuit deliveries for enterprise and strategic customers where our current own fibre does not reach. In addition to maintaining and building relationships, you will seek to improve delivery processes and work closely with partners and other Vorboss teams to improve the service and offering.
You will act as the primary point of contact for these “off-net” customer communications and be a trusted resource during project deliveries. You will ensure an excellent customer experience through the delivery process, representing Vorboss with the utmost professionalism at all times. You will be expected to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of projects in accordance with proposed timelines, budget and scope.

- Onboard both new and existing Vorboss Connect customers and project manage circuit deliveries from signature through to go-live – placing orders, tracking, troubleshooting and producing handover packs.
- Build relationships with customers and their representatives to arrange renewals, upgrades, and shifts.
- Work with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects and communicate back to customers at regular intervals.
- Be the single point of contact for all information on circuit deliveries for Vorboss Connect customers.
- Forge relationships with other internal teams and external partners to support service delivery.
- Consistently provide feedback for continuous improvement, both internally to Vorboss and externally to the customer.
- Keep all relevant tracking systems up to date.
- Work with Vorboss Connect Commercial Relationship Manager and the Carrier Relations Manager to identify and improve service, process, or delivery gaps with 3rd Party Partners.
- Accurately forecast KPI’s and delivery metrics such as lead time, budget, and risks to the wider team.
- Attend customer meetings, industry events and conferences as needed.
Skills & Experience:
The right candidate
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a telecommunication project management position.
- Ability to implement and improve processes and systems related to project management.
- Continually update and implement best practice methodology at strategic and tactical levels.
- To have prior knowledge of telecommunication operations processes related to Fibre Optic Networks.
- Demonstrate an understanding of costs and budgeting, design, construction, and scheduling in the delivery of projects.
- To have strong time management skills, with a proven ability to project manage simultaneous deliveries across global regions. This includes managing conflicting priorities.
- Experience in reporting and updating C-Suite executives on project status and forecast.
- Relationship-driven, consultative professional; always looking to do right by our customers.
- Motivated, self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
- To have strong analytical problem-solving skills, ability to work cross-functionally without hesitation, with the utmost professionalism at all times.
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or other automation tools, with a strong ability to learn new software and systems.
- To be a flexible team player, naturally willing to see things through to completion.
