Role Overview

Vorboss is looking for a Systems Administrator to be responsible for the maintenance, configuration and secure operation of Vorboss’ computer systems and servers. You will continually monitor the systems and actively resolve any problems which may arise, ensuring that you limit any possible work disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

(please note that this is not an exhaustive list):

• To provide technical support to the networking team by determining the system’s needs and ensuring that the team is working efficiently.

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers and virtualisation.

• Monitoring the systems performance to ensure that everything is continually running smoothly and securely.

• Maintain the network and computer systems security.

• Ensure that data is stored securely and backed up regularly.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous systems administrator experience in a similar industry.

• Keen interest in both set up and design of network systems.

• Advanced Linux Administrative knowledge and experience i.e., setup, maintenance, user account management.

• Windows Desktop and Server Support experience.

• A strong understanding of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server and Active Directory).

• Ability to soundly troubleshoot.

• Experience of implementing and troubleshooting firewall configurations (XTM).

• Advanced knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP.

• Advanced understanding of routing and switches technologies.
