Role Overview

We are seeking applicants with law enforcement experience to join the team as Lead Investigator. The successful applicant will be responsible for all investigations relating to cable damage incidents on our Central London network. In many cases, this will require visiting the site, collecting photographic and CCTV evidence, and liaising with the police and other operators.

Relevant training for working in and around a telecoms network will be provided in our dedicated training facility. It is anticipated that the role is likely to be evenly split between office and field work, both in Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Investigator’s responsibilities will consist of (please note that this is not an exhaustive list):

  • To conduct investigative interviews, gather and analyse evidence, and present to the relevant people and authorities.
  • Liaise with regulatory, law enforcement and other 3rd parties to ensure cases are closed.
  • To support risk assessment activities to prevent and mitigate security issues.
  • To develop required communication materials which help us to engage with peers, contractors, and regulators.

Skills & Experience:

  • To have experience in investigative interviews, evidence gathering, analysis and presentation.
  • To have knowledge of disclosure investigatory methods and evidence presentation, with experience managing criminal investigations and proven record in successful prosecutions.
  • The ability to identify and develop solutions which support regulatory aims.
  • Experience of effectively analysing complex information and swiftly recommend decision options
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a capacity to communicate with a wide range of people.
  • Telecommunication experience is desirable but not essential
