Role overview:

Vorboss is seeking a knowledgeable and driven Head of Regulatory Affairs who will be responsible for overseeing our relationships with industry regulators as well as designing and implementing our regulatory strategy. An important part of this role will be establishing Vorboss’ position in policy discussions with Ofcom, responding to industry consultations and reviewing proposed amendments to regulated industry remedies. This role will report to the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and the successful candidate will also input into Vorboss’ commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for overseeing Vorboss’ relationship with industry regulators.
  • Lead positioning Vorboss to mitigate regulatory risk and maximise opportunity from emerging regulatory interventions.  
  • Create optimal regulatory conditions to support Vorboss’ growth and commercial strategy and make direct contribution into the delivery of these plans.
  • Design and implement Vorboss’ regulatory strategy.
  • Represent Vorboss on industry regulatory forums.  
  • Assess proposed changes to regulated products purchased by Vorboss.  

The right candidate:

  • In-depth knowledge of telecoms regulatory landscape.
  • Experience of direct regulator engagement.
  • Familiarity with market review cycles.
  • Legal and/or economic analysis background preferable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex issues.
