Role overview:

We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team as the Head of Communications. Reporting directly into the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and driving Vorboss’ external and internal communications strategies.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective outreach to our external stakeholders and staff.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for designing and implementing Vorboss’ external media engagement strategy, as well as formulating an effective staff engagement strategy.
  • You will position Vorboss as a prominent industry leader. This will involve vigilant monitoring of industry developments, relaying pertinent information to SLT, conducting in-depth internal analyses of these developments, and crafting and implementing communication plans that maximize advantages and mitigate potential risks.
  • You will work to significantly enhance Vorboss’ visibility within the broader industry community and among crucial stakeholders, solidifying our standing as a leading player in the field in the provision of next generation business connectivity.
  • You will lead a dedicated team tasked with capturing and conveying Vorboss’ unique position as London’s fastest fibre network. Your team will play a pivotal role in championing our competitive edge and communicating it effectively to the public and our stakeholders.

The right candidate:

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven professional who can initiate and lead communication initiatives with a high level of energy and initiative.
  • Prior experience in the Telecoms industry is a fundamental requirement for this role. Your deep understanding of the telecom sector will be crucial in crafting effective communication strategies.
  • You will come equipped with a well-established network of contacts within the telecom and tech media landscape, including journalists, influencers, and industry experts.
  • You should be capable and comfortable with synthesising complex issues into simple and clear messaging.
  • You will be a confident and articulate communicator, being responsible for delivering presentations that convey our company's vision and goals in a clear and compelling manner.
