Role Overview

Vorboss is looking for a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Department with accounting and administrative tasks. The right candidate will need to demonstrate enthusiasm and have the ability to work closely with all other teams within in the business. This is a great opportunity for someone that is eager to learn and grow from within the heart of a truly fascinating organisation. This position requires no prior experience in the finance industry, just someone who has an interest in pursuing a career within finance.

Key Responsibilities:

The Finance Assistant’s responsibilities will consist of (please note that this is not an exhaustive list):

  • To help monitor the accounts inbox.
  • Inputting and recording invoices.
  • Liaising with suppliers.
  • Responding to account queries.
  • Performing bank reconciliations.
  • Ensuring customer invoices are paid in a timely manner and following up where necessary.
  • Managing company card expenses.
  • Ensuring purchase orders and payments are compliant.

Skills & Experience:

Essential required skills and knowledge:

  • 0-2 years’ previous finance experience.
  • A desire to pursue a career within finance.
  • An eagerness to learn and a strong can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail.
