Role Overview

We are looking for an individual who can take ownership of the physical delivery of fibre connections to Vorboss customers. You will be across, and manage, each step of the customer connection process.

You will manage a team of planners and installers, ensuring they fulfil all necessary requirements when planning and completing customer connection jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To take ownership of the physical delivery of fibre connection to customers from order close to handover.
  • Ensuring fibre delivery processes are being adhered to and respective systems updated accordingly and accurately.
  • You will ensure all orders are on track by managing the team of planners and installers, who plan and execute the works.
  • You will manage and own production across our fibre delivery KPI’s.
  • You will report on the status of all orders to the Build Program Manager and Head of Fibre as required

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and other duties and responsibilities within the scope and grading of the post may arise over time. Due to the fast paced environment, we require flexibility and a can-do attitude.

Skills & Experience:

  • You will be able to multitask and manage multiple projects.
  • You must have a strong understanding of the fibre installation process including relevant industry standards and codes of practice (e.g. BS EN 50174).
  • Previous management experience is desirable, and you must be comfortable working and communicating with a variety of abilities and teams.
  • A construction specific project management background is desirable, specifically relating to building installations.
  • 5+ years previous experience within telecoms desirable.
